Need Old World?  Just Recycle!
Our landscape architect was called upon to create a carport entry that looked as old as this "new" home.  Working with an antique brick recycler, we specified 87 year old B.A.R.R. bricks that were just "dug up" from a street in Racine, WI.  What an amazing look, don't you agree?

Creating an East Coast Retreat
Our clients were transplants from the east coast and wanted a patio and fire pit that would ooze with the warmth of Martha's Vineyard.  By utilizing crushed stone, old English cobbles, and random fractured flagstone in a radial pattern, we were able to meet our client's landscape vision... and come in under budget!

Sinuous Serpentine Delight
The fastest route between two points is a straight line... how boring!  This entry walk is all about the experience.  Utilizing hand molded clay pavers, we created this amorphous walk to invite the guests to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of this English-style Cottage Garden.

A Little Indoors... Outdoors!
In our Midwest climate, summer doesn't last nearly long enough and the spring and autumn season bring cool nights.  An outdoor fireplace helps warm the night air and extends the season of outdoor enjoyment.  Not to mention, they help create an ambience that feels like a nature extension of your home.

Luxury Living
No longer just seen in magazines, outdoor living rooms are becoming very popular throughout the country and here is no exception.  Elegant pergolas with ceiling fans and lighting are integrated into outdoor kitchenettes and stylish indoor/outdoor furniture to create an outdoor living space anyone would be proud to own.

Wood Fired Pizza Oven
If you've ever had the pleasure of consuming one of Lipsky's wood fired pizzas, you realize there really isn't a better flavored pizza.  With the popularity of outdoor fireplaces raising, so too have we seen a push for the integration of this wonderful element.  What better family activity than to create your favorite topping pizza and watch it cook the way the Italians intended it!

Swimming as Nature Intended
Sick of all those harsh chemicals of a regular pool?  Our friends across the pond (England) perfected the swimming pond by integrating natures purification... plants.  Similar to our ornamental ponds, a swimming pond provides beauty, enjoyment, and lower maintenance.  If you don't mind NOT having your eyes burn and your swimsuits rot,  this option may be for you!

Natural Pool Edge
Plants are the solution to pool filtration and they add to the beauty... Naturally!  Look at any beautiful, clear lake and you will notice a similarity... they all have plants to naturally filter the impurities out of the biotic system.  This photo shows just how beautiful a natural pool's border can appear.

Is It Live or Is It Memorex?
Artificial turf has come a long way.  This isn't your Papa's Astroturf.  Today's Artificial sod is not only beautiful, it is environmentally friendly and long lasting with a fade resistance guarantee of  eight years... one shade drop, barely noticeable to the human eye.  Although it would make a good whole lawn substitute, it is great for small areas or cottage lawns where low maintenance is highly desirable!
