Completed Project Gallery
Lizer's landscape division  has been been installing quality landscapes for over fifteen years.  During that time, we have have had the privilege of working on many different types of projects.  The following slides showcase some of our favorite photographs from our past project along with brief descriptions of the work completed.

Wisconsin Farm Elegance
This unique residence was located on an active ranch in central Wisconsin.  We were active in every aspect of design including selecting the materials for the  home's exterior.  To maintain an old world Wisconsin feel, we used stone form a local quarry.   We increased the seasonal use of the property with a custom pool, pergola and outdoor fireplace.

Complimenting the French Style
The owners of this residence wanted to create a landscape reflective of the Chateau's of Baroque France.  We accomplished this through use of formal boxwood hedges,  roses, and a small, ornamental orchard.  All elements were designed on a set of formal axis as is prevalent in Baroque Landscape Design.

Creating a Backyard Oasis
This project focused around the families desire to connect with the nature conservancy located behind their home.  As part of the program, we installed a terraced patio with an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, and a waterfall that flows down the hillside, under the walk,  and into a small pond that provides a great habitat for local wildlife.

Mediterranean Style
This project was designed on a beautiful property overlooking the Fox River.  We worked with the builder and architect to position the house most appropriately on the lot and in accordance with regulations.  The landscape reflects the home's style and frames the river's views out each window.  Large sweeps of perennial color provide inspiration throughout the year.

English Country Manor
We created an English Courtyard feel for this residence in Thornberry Creek.  In order to accent the home' s charm, we used a hand molded brick and wrapped the walks and patios in an elegant boxwood hedge.  The landscape beds are dappled in a tapestry of thick ground- covers and colorful perennials.

Overlooking the Setting Sun
This stately cottage was in need of a make over.  Rather than just replacing the existing wood walls, we completely redesigned the landscape to provide accessibility and longevity through use of permanent hardscape materials.  The plants were selected for bloom cycles related to when they were going to be using the cabin.

Where the River Flows
In 2006, we were commissioned to redesign the Children's Garden Pond at the Green Bay Botanical Garden.  As part of the design, we recreated a natural system by utilizing a bog- type headwaters and supplementing the ensuing rivulet with "springs" until the stream empties into a wading pond.

Addressing a Hillside Scenario
We were commissioned to develop this landscape with a severe grade  issues.  In fact, the residence front door was located nearly 12 feet above the street.  We provided a switchback drive and a series of 4" steps to access the home's main entrance.  Using concrete, brick, and stone, we created a soft, cottage feel to match the German half-timber construction

An American Cottage Garden
In keeping with the style made popular by Ohme VanSweden & Associates, we utilized large sweeps of native perennials and grasses to create a "prairie-type" feel.  Black-eyed Susans, Purple Coneflowers, Feather Reed Grass, Autumn Joy Sedum, and Purple Asters highlight the plant selections in this classic landscape application.
