Our Design Staff
Our design staff has over 45 years of cumulative design experience on projects
ranging from residential renovations to college master planning. Because
of our designers varying areas of expertise, we choose to work in an open studio
environment. This allows us to work outside the traditional paradigm of
one owner, one designer. We pool or expertise into an interdisciplinary
team. Although you will have a lead designer assigned to your project, we
work together as a team to develop the best possible solution to fit your
landscaping needs.
The following is a list of our design team with a synopsis of their
specialties.

Sam
has been designing landscapes since 1994. As a senior landscape designer,
he has developed a reputation for his attention to detail and ability to create
distinctive landscape plans. Each of his unique plans are tailored to meet
his clients needs, but exceed their expectations.
Sam
specializes in residential planning and custom water features, many of which are
featured in the Parade of Ponds Walk each year. Sam's passion and
enthusiasm for the landscape industry is reflected in his commitment to the WLCA,
where he served as President and Vice-president and continues to be a key board
member.

Jeremy J. Kox,

As a
licensed landscape architect, Jeremy is known for his signature style of design
which blends unique plant combinations with intricate landscape detailing.
He specializes in residential planning, upscale commercial developments, land
use planning, educational campus/medical facilities, and sustainable landscape
practices.
A graduate from the University of Wisconsin,
Jeremy is an avid Badger fan. In addition to his duties as a landscape
architect, he also teaches numerous landscape horticulture classes at the local community college,
helping to develop the design skills of future graduates. He has served as a
mentor to numerous Landscape Architectural Interns over the past fourteen years
and has served in leadership roles for various community and regional
organizations.
Jeremy portfolio includes projects in eight states (WI, MI, IL, IA, PA, FL, UT, and MT).

Brad Augustian

Brad is well known for his commitment to
meeting his client's budget requirements. He is very personable and gets along
well with all of his clients. Although he only completes a limited number
of drawings, Brad is happy to serve as a liaison between his clients and the
Lizer design staff.
Brad's primary role is as our business
development coordinator and spends much of his time taking care of marketing,
business development and financial management.
